Static Site Hosting on Kinsta

Deploy your static sites with Kinsta for fast and reliable hosting.

Kinsta offers a simple and fast way to host static sites. Follow these steps to deploy your site using Kinsta Static Site Hosting.

1. Prepare Your Static Site

  • Click on 'Save & Download' in ThemesForApp builder dashboard to get your site files.
  • Unzip the downloaded file to access your static site files (HTML, CSS, JS, assets).

2. Create a Kinsta Account

  • Go to https://kinsta.com/static-site-hosting/ and sign up for a free account.
  • Verify your email address and log in to your Kinsta dashboard.

3. Add a New Static Site

  • In the Kinsta dashboard, click on 'Static Sites' in the sidebar.
  • Click the 'Add static site' button.

4. Connect Your Repository or Upload Files

  • You can connect your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket repository, or upload your static site files directly.
  • To upload manually, select 'Upload files manually'.
  • Drag and drop all your static site files (not the containing folder) into the upload area.
  • Click 'Upload' to proceed.

5. Configure Build Settings (if needed)

  • If your site requires a build step (e.g., using a static site generator), configure the build settings as needed.
  • For plain HTML/CSS/JS sites, you can skip this step.

6. Deploy Your Site

  • Click 'Deploy site'.
  • Wait for the deployment process to complete. This may take a few moments.

7. Access Your Live Site

  • Once deployed, Kinsta will provide a live URL for your static site (e.g., https://your-site-name.kinsta.app).
  • Visit the URL to see your live static site.

8. (Optional) Set Up a Custom Domain

  • In your site dashboard, go to the 'Domains' section.
  • Add your custom domain and follow the instructions to update your DNS records.
  • Once DNS changes propagate, your site will be accessible via your custom domain.
